As we've been observing with this discussion, rephrasing

mysql -u root -p icinga < mysql.sql

to

mysql -u root -p -D icinga < mysql.sql

or better to

mysql -u root -D icinga -p < mysql.sql

would at least reduce confusion. This is a usabilty issue, not an  
actual error. Sorry for the faulty patch.

I was wondering, too, why German documentation did not match the  
English one.
